About me

I am a theoretical condensed matter physicist working in academia. Very passionate about physics and math, from 2011 to 2016 I attended the University of Cagliari, where I got a bachelor and a master degree in physics under the supervision of prof. Vincenzo Fiorentini. In 2016 I moved to Trieste to attend the Ph.D. program in “Theory and numerical simulation of condensed matter” at the Scuola Internazionale Superiore degli Studi Avanzati (SISSA). In 2020 I successfully defended my thesis, based on the work I had done under the supervision of prof. Andrea Dal Corso, and I earned a Ph.D. in theoretical condensed matter. Soon after, in 2021 I moved to Zürich to work with prof. Nicola Spaldin at ETH as a post-doc. I spent almost 3 years in Zürich and in September 2023 I moved to Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, where I am currently working as a post-doc with profs. David Vanderbilt and Karin Rabe.

In my spare time I love watching motorsport racing, especially F1, and practicing a couple of sports, running and table tennis, at an amateur level. I also enjoy reading manga comics and watching anime cartoons from time to time.
